The fifth-generation Volkswagen hatchback adds a bit more style to the slightly dowdy shape that has been around since 1975. For enthusiasts, the newest Golf will again be available in GTI guise. The Frankfurt show GTI "concept" (above) adds a different more aggressive facia and a more distinctive rear bumper. To prove the advances in their diesel engines, the GTI is powered by a 200-horsepower turbodiesel.
