2009 Mitsubishi Galant

2009 Mitsubishi Galant Front Three Quarter View

What's new for the 2009 Mitsubishi Galant?

Mitsubishi says - "expressive new styling" with a "boldly styled new front end" and desirable feature content.

We say - a less awkward front end and new trim levels.

Carrying a mild bumper, headlight, and taillight refresh (taillights that look yanked from a Hyundai Sonata), the new Galant appears to be awaiting a full redesign. However, Galant buyers will have more options, such as four trim levels and three available engines - including a Sport V-6 with 230 hp - and a Sport Value Package with such features as a sunroof, heated front seats, steering wheel audio controls, fog lights, 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and an alarm system.

All Galant models feature a standard Sportronic-shifted four- or five-speed automatic transmission, anti-lock brakes, electronic brake-force distribution, and side-curtain airbags.
