Saturn has just announced pricing for the all-new, turbocharged, Saturn {{{Sky}}} Red Line. It will be available this fall at a starting manufacturer's suggested retail price of $27,895 (including destination charges). That's a premium of about $4000 over the base Sky's $23,690 sticker price, but can you really put a price on performance?

The Pontiac Solstice is adding a turbocharged version, so the Sky is, too. The 2.0-liter Ecotec makes 260 hp (at 5300 rpm) and 260 lb-ft (at 2500 rpm). The turbo Sky uses Saturn's Red Line moniker, and it also includes sportier suspension tuning (firmer springs and thicker antiroll bars), a limited-slip differential, stability control, a slightly restyled front fascia, dark surrounds for the headlamps, and dual exhaust outlets. Saturn also throws in some of the regular Sky's optional cabin dress-up bits.
