2008 Ford Focus Spy Shots

Ford debuted its 2008 Focus earlier this year at the Detroit Auto Show. Not only were we a little disappointed that the new car is based on the old car's platform, but we weren't quite sure what to say about its styling. It looked like a hodgepodge of many current styling trends, none of which really seem to work together.

Now that we've seen the new Focus on the road (we snapped this picture on I-94 just outside of Ann Arbor) we have a lot more to say about the styling. And none of it is very nice.

In fact, we're thinking that Focus might not be the best name for it. And given Ford's apparent willingness to rename cars for no apparent reason, we came up with a few suggestions.
