There are no plans for production of the G6, but it speaks the Pontiac design language that was introduced a year ago with the Solstice: clean and uncluttered, futuristically shaped exteriors and high-tech, high-quality interiors. The four-passenger, all-wheel-drive G6's supercharged 3.5-liter V-6 produces 285 horsepower and 272 pound-feet of torque via a four-speed automatic transmission. The four-wheel independent suspension can be adjusted for ride height and sportier handling. The most interesting aspect of the fairly bland exterior, aside from the gorgeous five-spoke, twenty-inch wheels, is the sharply angled cut line of the rear doors. Inside, firmly supportive bucket seats swathed in rich two-tone leather—thrones we'd love to see in a production Pontiac regardless of the model—set a tone of sporty elegance.
