Toyota's latest pickup literally doubles as a family car. Thanks to an extra 13 inches of overall length and 12 more inches of wheelbase, the Tundra Double Cab offers plenty of passenger room on the inside. Compared with the regular Tundra Access Cab, the Double Cab features two front-hinged rear doors that open to reveal a very manageable 37.5 inches of legroom (8.9 inches more than Access Cab). And utility has not been lost, because the Double Cab's bed is as long as the current Access Cab. For sheer convenience, the rear seats are the 60/40 split-fold-and-tumble variety, offering a 24-degree seatback angle for better passenger comfort. A vertical power-sliding rear window (a la Sequoia) further adds to the pleasant novelty of fully retractable rear passenger windows. Not bad, for a pick-em-up truck.
