This new Mitsubishi Lancer is a bit of a mystery. Huge dual exhaust pipes and an intercooler - indicating a turbocharged engine - behind the front grille differentiate it from the standard Lancer, but we've already seen pictures of the upcoming Lancer Evolution and this is definitely a different car. Perhaps this is a new model that fits in between the Lancer and the Evolution - along the lines of a WRX, or even a car that has the Evo's performance without its boy-racer looks?
