Hoping to drum up global interest for its latest crossover wagon, Subaru today launched a website giving enigmatic previews of the upcoming 2009 Exiga.
Although the released images are gloomy, we're able to make out a profile nearly identical to the Exiga concept shown at the 2007 Toyko motor show. While technically a concept, the show car was reportedly a thinly-disguised variant of the production car.
From what we can glean from these shadow-laden photos, that may well be true. In order to see more of the car's front fascia, we toyed with the images in Photoshop, and we now can see more details surrounding the Exiga's front graphic. While much of the design is carryover, the headlamps and grille seem subdued in production form.
In any order, we'll know more about the car in a month's time, when Subaru lifts the shadows and releases more information on the Exiga.
