2007 Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG

The Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG continues the Stuttgart tradition of over-the-top power in unlikely bodies--how does 612 hp and 738 lb-ft in a full-size luxury sedan grab you? Based on the new 2007 Mercedes-Benz S550 and using the powertrain of the previous-generation S65 AMG and the ongoing SL65 and CL65, the S65 AMG gets nineteen-inch wheels, composite brakes with twin calipers, and a bespoke body kit. It can accelerate from 0-60 in just over four seconds, and get to its electronically-limited 155-mph top speed in a hurry. Interior gimmicks include a fabulous IWC clock emblazoned with the AMG logo and a silly digital lap timer, in case you've always wanted to see just how fast you can get your kids to school. The S65 AMG will cost close to $180,000 when it reaches the U.S.
