2009 Cadillac XLR

2009 Cacillac Xlr Front Three Quarter View

Just in time for summer, Cadillac has announced a mid-cycle update to the XLR, its Corvette-based hardtop convertible.

Changes are mostly cosmetic and include new front and rear fascias, unique upper and lower grilles, and vertical side vents. The interior receives an updated instrument cluster, as well as new wood grain and metal trim choices.

Available trim levels go from three to two: the XLR Platinum and XLR-V. Both continue on with the same Northstar V-8s under the hood, the Platinum using a 320-hp 4.6-liter and the V with its supercharged 443-hp 4.4-liter. Speaking of hoods, both models now get the XLR-V's more aggressive bonnet.
