2008 Audi A5 3.2

2008 Audi A5 Rear Three Quarter View

Outside, the A5 has its own unique look; inside, it's essentially a replay of the A6. Not bad, certainly, but could perhaps be sportier. Our test car was let-down somewhat by its Lexus-beige - oh wait, that's Linen beige - color scheme.

The Servotronic, speed-sensitive power steering is ridiculously over-boosted at low speeds, but improves a bit once you're moving along. The overarching impression I got from my brief drive was one of solidity. The body is just rock-solid, and it barely moves while the suspension pounds away over bumps.

Very Audi-like, in other words.
